Develop and implement manufacturing methods and controls to meet quality targets for
Additive Manufacturing (AM) processes. Develop Design for AM (DfAM) methodologies for
a range of AM technologies.
Job’s profile:
• Hands-on operation of AM systems, troubleshooting and process optimization
• Provide technical engineering support to cross-functional teams to resolve technical
issues
• Experimental design, testing and analysis of different fabrication scenarios to
provide technical solutions with the aim to achieve cost, throughput and quality
targets;
• Remain up-to-date regarding materials, machines, configurations, applications and
manufacturing processes to meet functionality requirements
• Participate in projects, assist in day-to-day technical implementation activities,
reporting and attend project meetings
• Maintain excellent file handling and organization skills
• Open and collaborative approach in all areas of responsibility
Basic qualifications:
• Engineering background, such as Mechanical Engineering
• Hands on experience in Additive manufacturing technologies
• Experience in topology optimization of 3D printed parts
• Excellent communication skills and English proficiency
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• MSc Degree or Advanced Studies in Engineering and Robotics
• Proficient hand-on experience with AM processes
• Engineering experience in a process development, technology transfer and
manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform design of experiment (DOE) on process parameter development
